Artwork Submission and Format
Whenever possible, send your artwork in Adobe Illustrator or another vector format. We need to have your artwork in a vector format to screen print it. However, if creating vector artwork is not an option for your team, don’t worry! We have many talented graphic artists who can take whatever artwork you send us and make it look great printed on your gear! Whatever format you do send your artwork in, just make sure it is as large and crisp as possible. If you use a font in your design, make sure to let us know the name of the font.

Size:
We can print your artwork at a maximum size of 16″ by 12.5″ on your jerseys, 10″ square on your shorts, and 2.5″ by 3.5″ on your hats.
Color:
We can match almost any color you would like to have printed. If you are very picky about color, make sure to specify a Pantone number so we can get it exactly right. The maximum number of colors you can have in one location is 6. (e.g. you can have a 6 color rainbow on your jerseys but not an 8 color rainbow.)
Location:
We can print almost anywhere on your gear. For the screen printing process to work, however, the screen needs to be able to lie flat against the fabric. Therefore, we can’t print over things like pockets, zippers, or sleeve seams. We can print over seams (e.g. the side of the jersey) but because this requires that we print over a bumpy seam, we charge a little extra for this, and it will take a week or two extra to print the order. This is because of the extra time and care it takes to make sure the printing will come out looking excellent!
Player Numbers
Font:
We offer six different styles of screen printed numbers at various sizes. Check ‘em out!
Size:
Standard sizes for numbers are 3″ or 4″ on shorts and either 6″ or 8″ on jerseys, but we can print ‘em in any size you’d like.
Color:
We can also print in any color you’d like – though you should keep in mind that when we print lighter colored inks on darker fabric, we put a white screen behind it so that it really stands out. We can’t do the same for names and numbers, because they are different on each jersey. Therefore, the player numbers and names may come out slightly different shades.

| Logo Color Matching:
If you want a very specific color for your jerseys, let us know the Pantone number. Keep in mind that the color that appears on your computer screen may appear different than what is screen printed, as can be seen with this jersey. |

Over the Seam Printing:
When printing over the seam, the ink will not be completely smooth because the screen printing machine cannot lay flat over the bumpy seam. We try to minimize the effect of the bumpy seam, but some bumpiness is unavoidable. Designs with thinner lines over the seam do much better than thick blocks of ink over the seam. |

| Different Sizes:
The same screen is used for all sizes, so what goes from top to bottom on a women’s small, will not go top to bottom on a Men’s Large. Consider how the size of your design will look on all sizes of teammates. |

Print Shrink:
After being inked, the jerseys are placed in a giant oven that sets the printing. This process causes the jerseys to shrink a bit, as can be seen in these two women’s mediums. The more screens a jersey has, the more shrinkage will occur. Sublimated jerseys do not go through this heating process, so they stay true to size. |

| Number color vs. Screen Color:
When printing a light color on a dark jerseys, we flash a screen of white ink underneath your logos to make they look really sharp. However, we do not do the same for numbers and player names because they are different from jersey to jersey. Therefore, your logos and your player names and numbers on your dark jerseys may come out slightly different shades, because the dark color of the jersey will show through a little bit on your numbers and player names. |

Metallic Fade:
Yes, we can print in shiny metallic inks! However, the sparkliness will fade after continued washing and wearing. You can minimize the effect of the fade by turning your jerseys inside out before washing, washing gently on cold water, pre-soaking for stain removal and line drying instead of using an automatic dryer. |
