Five Ultimate is IN IT for the long haul.
Thus, we are constantly working on projects that are aimed at growing the sport from the ground up. Our goals are to invest in teams, programs, organizations, and initiatives that target specific areas of Ultimate that show signs of high growth, excellence, and continuity. We’re proud of the initiatives we’re involved in (a select few of which are listed below), and look forward to many more to come…

Team USA
|
We worked with the UPA to sponsor the six Team USA’s at the World Ultimate Championships in Vancouver in August 2008. They rocked some fly, fully customized Five gear, and brought home six medals: three gold, one silver, and two bronze. We were honored to support Team USA in this competition, and look forward to being a big part of the Ultimate community world wide. |

UPA Coaching Corps
The way ultimate is progressing, there is an increasing need for good coaches. As college and club players are stepping up to coach, the UPA has taken the lead by organizing the “Five Ultimate Coaching Certification Program.” Our support of the program is fluid with our mission to promote all aspects of ultimate, and fortunately for us, we are able to achieve this while also making certified coaches look good and feel good on the field. |

International Outreach Programs
Five Ultimate actively participates in programs designed to support local communities around the globe. Specifically the Israeli Palestinian effort Ultimate Peace designed to bring youth from both sides of the conflict together in friendly competition. We maintain a consistent presence in the Chinese Ultimate community through development of basic league infrastructure to tournament organization. Our European efforts are developing as we make more contacts, currently we are supporting a few teams in Eastern Europe with plans to expand the effort across the rest of the continent. |

Women’s Ultimate Initiative

Discs for Development
A disc is worth a thousand words. For years, Five Ultimate has been supporting the growth of Ultimate in countries that have not yet been graced with it’s glory. In some cases we support players that go abroad to developing counties, helping them use discs as teaching tools in countries in Africa, for example. Five has donated a large number of discs on multiple occasions to some of the first locally developing programs in cities around China, both adult and youth. China is a largely under-represented country with respect to Ultimate, and Five is proud to have been working for many years to encourage it’s growth in positive ways. Five is moving discs to the Middle East and will be actively pursuing multiple options for disc sponsorship in the surrounding countries. |

Youth Sponsorship
Youth Ultimate is the future of the sport, and for this reason we sponsor every youth team that comes our way! Our exclusive gear offer is our way of giving back to the community that inspired us to start playing disc when we were in middle school and high school. And, let’s be honest – youth Ultimate is where it’s at. |

League Sponsorship
League development is a significant part of Five Ultimate’s 2009 expansion plan. We are looking to encourage development of players at all skill levels and ages. Successful Leagues often depend on a few motivated players willing to go the extra mile for the community. We understand the sacrifices that are made, and will be looking to sponsor leagues in various ways even more this upcoming season. |
